My Care Philosophy

  1. Evidence-based medicine

  2. Humanism

  3. Compassion

Evidence-based medicine

The health and safety of my patients is my number one priority. I strive to stay current on pediatric practice guidelines, the most up-to-date and accurate recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics and any new scientific literature. Helping children thrive means keeping them healthy, so that they can be empowered to be their best selves.

Humanism

I strive to provide the highest quality care while simultaneously connecting with my patients and families. Being a pediatrician is a privilege and an honor. I want my patients to feel that I know them, and work hard to form personal connections. Being a doctor is about more than diagnosing and treating diseases; it’s about treating people.

Compassion

Before anyone can be a good pediatrician, they must learn to be a good listener. That’s why I focus of empathic listening first. Dealing with an illness is stressful, but when a child is ill everything is amplified. So, when treating sick children, it’s important to consider several variables, including how that illness affects the entire family unit. Empathy and compassion are at the cornerstone of my approach to medicine.
